High Season:

June to October: This is the peak safari season in Ngorongoro, as the weather is dry and wildlife congregates in the crater and surrounding areas, making for excellent game viewing. The region’s high-altitude climate provides mild, pleasant temperatures during this period.

March to May: The rainy season, particularly from March to May, is the low season. During this period, rainfall can make travel more challenging, and game viewing is less predictable as animals disperse due to the abundance of water sources.

November to early December and January to February, these months are considered shoulder seasons, with good weather and fewer tourists. The landscape is lush from the rains, and the wildlife is still abundant, though there may be less predictable game movements compared to the dry season.
