Olkeri, the Maasai name for the elusive leopard, embodies the spirit of this wild sanctuary—an iconic predator of the land. Location & Accessibility:
Located in the Randilen Wildlife Management Area, Olkeri Camp is approximately a 2-hour drive from Arusha, accessible via the Arusha-Babati Road or through Tarangire National Park’s Boundary Hill Gate. The closest airstrip to Olkeri Camp in Tarangire is Kuro Airstrip, which is a 1.5-hour drive from the camp.
Accommodation:
The camp offers 8 Tented Suites with wooden floors and spacious verandahs overlooking seasonal watercourses. Two interconnecting suites create a family unit. Each suite features an en-suite bathroom, running water, and flush toilets for comfort in nature.

Guests can unwind in the spacious Mess Tent & Lounge, serving as the central hub for dining and relaxation. The camp offers a range of activities, including walking safaris, night game drives, fly camping, and cultural experiences with the local Maasai community, ensuring a diverse and enriching safari experience.

High Season:
June to October – These dry months offer excellent wildlife viewing as animals gather around water sources. The clear skies and mild temperatures make it ideal for outdoor activities.

March to May – This period experiences heavier rainfall, leading to lush landscapes. While some areas may be challenging to access, the region is less crowded, and the scenery is vibrant.
